The Lucas Law (13722/18) was sanctioned on 10/04/2018. It obliges schools, public and private, and child hospitalization spaces to prepare for first aid calls.

The law itself provides for the consequences of non-compliance with its provisions. Schools that do not train their employees will suffer penalties of three types:
- Notification of non-compliance;
- Fine after recidivism;
- Withdrawal of the operating license, after the second recurrence.
